ErgoPad Project Update #8

Update #8 supplies a recap of last week’s developments on the project front, including some official date changes to the calendar for the months ahead. As we’ve done over the past couple of weeks, we will start the update with some important dates to watch for during the week ahead.

Key Upcoming Dates

Here are the following days to be aware for the following week, including the ErgoGames.io IDO.

• 1st May — ErgoGames.io IDO will take place on ErgoDex @ 17:00 UTC under $EGIO (pairs will be added for both Erg and SigUSD)
• 2nd May — ErgoLend staker snapshot occurs @17:00 UTC for all ErgoPad staking tiers
• 3rd to 8th May — ErgoLend staker contribution round is open

What Happened Last Week on ErgoPad?

The next section is a brief summary of the most important developments on ErgoPad last week.

• Introduction to ErgoLend — We officially announced the ErgoLend project schedule and released a short overview article on the project
• Darkpool Project Date Change — The contribution and IDO dates for Darkpool will be moved to June to provide the team with more time to develop and release promotional content including some sneak peek in-game footage
• Azorus Partnership Announcement — This data science for blockchain project plans to launch in early July. We also shared their white paper in our announcement earlier last week
• Proof of Ergo Episode Two — This latest episode featured interviews with ErgoGames.io and Darkpool, as well as some informative content on mining Ergo
• ErgoPad Platform Updates — We are working on a notification system for smart contract interaction through the ErgoPad website. This will drastically improve the user experience, removing the need to repeatedly send transactions until block confirmation. Users will just need to send one transaction, and off-chain bots will submit them to the blockchain until they go through. The notification system will alert users whether the transaction successfully submitted to the blockchain, or if they need to try again, without requiring them to constantly monitor Ergo explorer.
